Pegasus Residential was launched in January 2009 by its Principals, Lindy Ware and Debbie Conley, with a bold vision of revolutionizing third-party management. Specializing in luxury level management in a variety of markets, Pegasus Residential currently manages over 35,000+ units for various institutional clients, partnerships, and individual owners.
Abandoning tired industry practices, Lindy and Debbie created an organization hinged on relationships and integrity; and where services rendered are consistently referral-worthy. Integrating their unique strengths and rich experience, they began to create a truly unique, family-oriented work culture that was inviting and exhilarating to high-achievers and structured their individual responsibilities so that they could lead their team of overachievers with a "hands-on" approach.

Jackie is the Chief Executive Officer of Pegasus Residential. Jackie, who has been with Pegasus Residential for 14 years, has held multiple positions within the company, showcasing her diverse skill set and commitment to its success. She began her career as a Sales Operations Support Specialist and has since climbed the ranks to various leadership roles, including Property Manager, Regional Manager, Marketing Associate, Director of Training, Director of New Business, Vice President of Operations and most recently, Chief Strategy Officer.
In her role as Chief Strategy Officer, Jackie has demonstrated her ability to drive significant change, bringing innovative solutions to technology and operational best practices. She has also played a key role in directing the company's Operational strategies, Marketing and Learning and Development departments.
Landon is the Executive Vice President/Chief Financial Officer for Pegasus Residential. He has over 30 years of experience in real estate accounting working for both multi-family and commercial development companies. He also has operational experience in apartment management, hotel management and real estate brokerage. Prior to joining Pegasus, he was employed by Brand Properties, Atlantic Marina Holdings, MD Hodges Enterprises\Blackstone Group and InterSouth Management.
Yakov is the Chief Operating Officer for Pegasus Residential overseeing the companies entire portfolio. He has over 18 years of experience in property management and has operated in metro markets throughout NC, SC, GA, TX, AL and VA. Yakov began his career with Equity Residential and also worked for Colonial Properties. Yakov has managed a variety of asset types and has extensive experience operating class-A, lease-up, and repositioning projects for private investors as well as public REITs. Yakov graduated from Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT).
Linda has returned to multi-family operations after three years with Bluerock Real Estate as Vice President of Asset Management for the Western Multi-Family and SFR Portfolio. Prior to Bluerock, Linda provided operational leadership for national companies such as Lincoln, Equity, and Harbor Group. She has also been a critical founding member of several start-up management companies, including Carroll Management Group.
Linda is an impactful leader with a sharp sense of urgency. She utilizes current data to identify and prioritize actions needed with timely decisions in collaboration with clients, team members, and leaders to be sure the right resources are allocated effectively. In addition, Linda has an intense passion for value-add, capital projects, and repositioning assets in the marketplace.
Linda enjoys spending time outdoors playing tennis, hiking, and skiing. Also, she says, “Nothing is better than time with family and a Michigan State basketball game!”
Julia brings over 20 years of experience in the multifamily industry. Starting her career as a leasing agent in 2002, Julia has held various positions in the property and leadership pathway and has earned the CAM and HCCP designations. She has operated and overseen assets across all classes, including ground-up development, LIHTC, renovation/value-add, and repositioning projects. Most recently, Julia served as SVP, Operations for The Bainbridge Companies, overseeing the company’s operations platform of approximately 25,000 units across a wide geographic footprint. Throughout her career, Julia has held leadership positions with nationally recognized industry leaders and is a graduate of the University of Georgia, where she studied Business Management. Born and raised in Upstate NY, Julia now calls Georgia home and is an avid fan of the DAWGS! She lives near Lake Lanier with her husband, their four children, and two dogs and is often found on a sports field or court when she is not working.
Michelle has over 20 years of knowledge in the multifamily industry. She has experience in lease-ups, renovations, mixed-use, high-rise, commercial-including office parks and retail in Georgia, Tennessee, Texas, Florida, Ohio, Kentucky, and Indiana. In her role as Regional Manager, Michelle finished four lease-ups, took over two high-rises and two mid-rises, created centralized staffing plans, and led four employees to promotion. In 2020, Michelle received the Pegasus Residential Flying Pig Award for her success and leadership at a stalled lease-up in Atlanta. The following year, under Michelle’s leadership of the lease up, Inkwell, the team received a Flying Pig award. These accomplishments have allowed Pegasus to obtain new business and strengthen our growth in the Atlanta market.
Brandy joined Pegasus in April 2015 and has held many operations roles throughout her career. Brandy’s contributions to our company have been many, including the successful launch of ground-up new construction, portfolio takeovers, new business development, distressed communities, and value add in South Carolina, Georgia, Tennessee, and Alabama. She has also played a key role in supporting the growth of the Pegasus footprint and brand across the Southeast through her commitment to building strong client relationships. Brandy leads her teams with operational excellence to achieve their goals and places a strong focus on creating a dynamic Pegasus culture. People are at the core of her leadership and her commitment to multiplying leaders can be seen in the internal promotions and low attrition in her portfolio.
Steve has been in the multi-family industry for 26 years. He started as a Maintenance Technician and his career naturally progressed from there. Through the years Steve has worked for several leading-edge companies and in many of the major markets across the US. His experience includes portfolio management, new construction, Cap-Ex/value add projects, and training, just to name a few. Steve earned his CAM and CAPS certification from the National Apartment Association and has served as a board member for the Atlanta Apartment Association. Steve has a passion for building teams, growing leaders and loves training and mentoring our future rock star’s.
Laurie Lyons is an executive industry expert that brings nearly 30 years of multifamily experience spanning over 28 states to Pegasus. Graduating from the University of Wisconsin with a Bachelor of Science degree, she began her multifamily career in acquisitions and asset management for BH Equities. She went on to be the Co-Founder and CEO of BH Management. As CEO, she scaled the organization from a few thousand apartment homes to over 45,000. She also was the first female CEO to ever be featured on the NMHC’s Top 50 Manager’s ranking.
Prior to joining Pegasus, Laurie served as Senior Vice President of Business Development for The Bainbridge Companies, Director of Asset Management for MIG Real Estate, Executive Vice President for US Residential Group, and was a Partner at the Cardinal Group.
She is an active industry speaker, serves in multiple advisory and committee positions with the National Apartment Association (NAA), is a PAC contributing member for NMHC and contributes to a multitude of industry publications.
Kurt Blanton is the Vice President Corporate Controller for Pegasus Residential. He has over 15 years of experience in multi-family real estate auditing and accounting. Prior to joining Pegasus, he was employed by Trammel Crow Residential, Lane Company and Place Properties. Having joined Pegasus Residential in 2009, Kurt has the honor of being one of the first employees.
